Carbonara
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 160g Spagetti
- 3 Eggs
- Quite a bit of parmasan
- Diced Bacon
- Garlic (Optional)
- Blepper
- Salt
Method
- Start by putting a big pot of water on the hob and bring to boil. Season water with salt.
- While the water is coming to boil. Grate the parmasan if not already grated.
- Add a frying pan to hob on heat 6 and fry the bacon until cwispy.
- Add your spagetti to the water.
- While cooking, add 2 egg yolks and 1 whole egg into a large mixing bowl.
- If using garlic, add to the frying pan just before your bacon is ready.
- To the same bowl as the eggs, add most of your parmasan and crack a load of blepper.
- Mix the ingredients until it becomes a bit pasty. Add more cheese if still loose.
- When the bacon is done. Add it to the large mixing bowl
- Hopefully by now your pasta is ready. Save some of the pasta water before draining.
- Add your pasta to the mixing bowl and stir well. Keep stiring until it becomes glossy. Gradually adding pasta water to help it if needed.
- Before serving, taste and see if it needs more blepper or salt. Equally you can add some spronions or other green stuff here.
